Here is a message I received today from IHETS, the Indiana Higher Education Telecommunications System, which provides our Moodle service. Basically, they want to know if any of you are interested in having additional features that our version of Moodle does not currently supply. There may be further features (called "modules") in Moodle that we can obtain if there is interest. So if there is something you'd like added to our version of Moodle, some kind of additional activity or feature, let me know and we see if there's a module for it.
I am working to get information from participating schools on their use of Moodle and their need for any updates. There is a small security update that is not currently installed on your Moodle instance. We would like to update your account soon and discuss the needs of your organization for other modules for the upcoming semester. In order to provide you with the best service, we will need to discuss a time for the updates to occur so as not to interrupt the use of the system. We would like to be able to update all accounts prior to the beginning of your semester or just after the semester begins. I have told them to go ahead and do the security update this weekend if possible.
